- INCLUDES: CHANGE OIL AND FILTER. LUBE ALL FITTINGS ON STEERING LINKAGE( IF APPLIES), BALL JOINTS & DRIVE SHAFT(S) I( IF APPLIES ). CHECK AND CORRECT ALL FLUID LEVELS TO INCLUDE BRAKE FLUID, POWER STEERING FLUID, COOLANT, BATTERY ACID (UNLESS A SEALED BATTERY), AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID. CHECK TIRE PRESSURE. INSTALL "NEXT SERVICE DUE" STICKER.
- Brake inspection with free tire rotation
- First start was unable to duplicate concern. Performed service and second attempt duplicated concern. Heard change in exhaust sound indicating engine preparing for regeneration of DPF. Installed scan tool and confirmed DPF status was in warm up mode and later turned to active regeneration. A brake pedal press exited regeneration, and regeneration went active again when conditions were met. This is a normal condition and no repairs should be made. Ran vehicle health report with scan tool and no vehicle propulsion codes are stored.
